Shagufta Ahmad is the Director of Rakaiz Al-Ijtima’iyah, a family NGO in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the USA and an MBA in Islamic Finance from Malaysia. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the field of Islamic/Ethical Economics from the UK. She is a diversified professional with over 25 years of experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors (education and software industries, public administration and community service organizations). She has been teaching and tutoring students all her adult life with passion.
